Following the success at the Cheltenham Festival, the CDT stand returned home to the University of Nottingham Wonder Festival. During the event, which takes place every other year, the University opened its doors to the general public to explore the huge range of research and teaching activities, this year celebrating the Year of the Periodic Table. 

The festival activities had a fun link to the elements and ranged from art workshops to science experiments. With its chemistry and engineering focus, the CDT stand ‘Atoms, Energy and Impact’ delivered its interactive and thought-provoking activities to members of the general public.
