
EPSRC CDT in Sustainable Chemistry held Sustainable Catalysis Symposium, its second afternoon colloquia event for the academic year 2018/19. The event, which took place on 22 May featured three interesting lectures; Silyl esters: Synthesis applications of hidden intermediates, by Dr Ross Denton, University of Nottingham; Bio-inspired nano-architectures for artificial photosynthesis, by Prof Marcella Bonchio, University of Padova; and Catalysis by nanomaterials, by Prof Graham Hutchings, Cardiff University.
The event was chaired by CDT student Ben Scrafield and featured a lively discussion followed by a poster session.
