Debbie recently joined the CDT Management Board.

Debbie is originally from Penarth in South Wales. She received her MChem and PhD degrees in Chemistry from Cardiff University. After postdoctoral work, also at Cardiff University, she took up a Junior Research Fellowship at the University of Oxford, and from there moved to the University of Nottingham in 2007.

Debbie’s research interests involve of the stabilisation of highly unsaturated complexes featuring the earth abundant metals and their reactivity under stoichiometric and catalytic regimes. Outside of Chemistry, she enjoys crafting and spending time with her family.
