The University of Nottingham opened its door to the general public for Wonder 2017, a free family day full of hands-on activities 'to amaze and inspire curious minds.
CDT in Sustainable Chemistry was represented by a number of its students from across all Cohorts, who met visitors at the CDT stand with interactive demonstrations. The visitors had the opportunity to look through an £8 microscope and take the image photos on their smart phones, create an invisible fire extinguisher using baking soda and vinegar and see an interesting demonstration of the acidity of CO2 using dry ice.
