The EPSRC CDT in Resilient Chemistry: Feedstock 2 Function welcomed its third Cohort of students at the recent CDT induction event, which took place on 24 – 25th September 2026. A big welcome to our new students: Zachary McGuire, Chloe Ingham, Max Stone, Isabella Bonev, Ethan Lewis, Ryan Mycock, Matthew Sandhu, Emily Williams, Jonathon Mitchell & Ali Farhat. During the induction, students were given the opportunity to learn more about the development of the two CDTs, meet academics, fellow students, and industry members on the SAB board. They also participated in a number of cohort building activities including a maze ice-breaker challenge and Robin Hood tour of the city centre! They further had a tour of facilities at The University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University, where they will be spending time researching over the next four years. A meal at Mem Saab restaurant in Nottingham City Centre provided students opportunity to network with the co-directors, theme leads, and members of the SAB. We are thrilled to welcome the next generation of pioneers in Resilient Chemistry, welcome to the CDT, Nottingham Trent University, and the University of Nottingham.
