CDT in Sustainable Chemistry officially welcomed its fifth Cohort of students at the two-day Induction event, which took place on 27- 28 September 2019. The new students had the opportunity to meet a number of industrial partners from companies such as GSK, AstraZeneca, Sygnature Discovery, UCB Celltech, Synthomer, Syngenta and Endeavour Specialty Chemicals and hear about the main sustainability challenges facing these companies. Furthermore, the students took part in speed networking with University of Nottingham academics, discussed research opportunities during a poster session, learned about sustainability at the University of Nottingham and participated in a number of Cohort building group activities.
