Title: Lignocellulosic biomass biorefinery by sub/supercritical water process    

Speaker's Biography:
Dr Maria Jose Cocero Alonso current Director of BioEcoUVa Research Institute. Expert in supercritical water processes and has more than 30 years of experience in high-pressure processes and product development. She is an IChemE Chartered Engineer and is a member of the Spanish National Observatory of Bioeconomy Strategy and a national representative of WP high-pressure technology of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE). She obtained her MSc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Valladolid and postdoc fellowship from The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. She supervised 40 Ph.D. theses and 15 postdoctoral projects. She is the European Editor of the Journal of Supercritical Fluids and a  She has been awarded an IChemE Water Award in 2003 and the Social Council Award from the Valladolid University (Spain) for her research group in 2013.
